Catch 22 are partnered with a national Facilities Management company working on commercial and industrial contracts throughout the North West. They are looking for a M&E Engineer to join their team working in the North West region.
Main responsibilities of the M&E Engineer;
- Report into the Contracts Engineer, Contract Manager and Qualifying Supervisor
- Ensure all test equipment is maintained and calibrated to the required standard
- Ensure all work is to the standard of our clients Electrical Procedures
- Carry out all Mechanical & Electrical PPM as instructed by Line Manager
- Carry out electrical installation works for small projects
- Carry out reactive Electrical, Mechanical & Fabric jobs.
- Carry out all reactive faults within the set timescales as dictated by the specific contracts
- Inspections and associated operational activities
The ideal candidate will be;
- Capable of carrying out electrical fault finding
- Able to carry out PAT testing
- Be qualified to 18th Edition Standard
- Have a good understanding of electrical systems
- Clean UK Driving License
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Previous experience in a similar working role
- Must be conversant with Health & Safety requirements
- To be able to work alone or as part of a team with working unsociable hours as part of a shift rota
- Able to work to tight timescales
- Have a flexible approach and be able to work in a proactive manner

- Salary of around £36,000 depending on experience.
- Working hours between 08:00-17:00 Mon-Fri
