Ad-Hoc Security Officer – School in Leeds (LS17)

Pay: £13.21 per hour
Location: Leeds (LS17)
Hours: Ad-hoc shifts – flexible cover Monday to Sunday, between 07:30am and 10:00pm

Requirements: Valid SIA Licence and Enhanced DBS (essential – basic/standard DBS cannot be accepted) - or willingness to obtain at a cost to you)

We’re looking for reliable and professional Security Officers to provide flexible, ad-hoc cover within a busy school environment in Leeds. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who enjoy varied working hours and can step in as needed to support site safety and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring site access and managing visitors
• Conducting patrols across the school and grounds
• Supporting safeguarding procedures and school staff
• Responding calmly and effectively to incidents
• Maintaining a visible, reassuring presence onsite

What We’re Looking For

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor)
• Enhanced DBS certificate ( 
• Strong communication skills and professional approach
• Previous security experience desirable but not essential
• Flexible and dependable with availability for ad-hoc shifts
