Location: YO24
Hours: 30 hours per week / 6 hour shifts
Shift: Evenings / Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract Type: Part-time / Temporary to Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a school in the YO24 area. You’ll play an important part in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal spaces
• Sanitising toilets and washrooms
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and general dusting
• Emptying bins and managing waste appropriately
• Replenishing consumables such as soap and paper towels
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely
• Following all health & safety and safeguarding procedures

About You

• Ideally you will have an Enhanced DBS
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Professional and positive attitude
• Must pass (or be willing to undergo) an enhanced DBS check
