Job Description

Catch22 is looking for temporary Maintenance Assistant or Maintenance Operative workers to help support with a variety of sites across London, including office buildings, hospitals, and schools.

General duties and responsibilities:

• Preventative maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance on building systems, structures, and components 
• Minor repairs: Replacing minor parts such as light bulbs, fuses, and starters 
• Carpentry
• Electric: like-for-like replacements of bulbs or sockets
• Plumbing: Performing plumbing repairs 
• Clearing blockages: Removing foreign matter from sinks, toilets, drains, and grease traps 
• Debris removal: Keeping gullies, drains, and gutters free of debris 
• Concrete work: Assisting with curb, gutter, and sidewalk repair 
• Health and Safety: Performing routine health and safety checks on fire alarms, extinguishers, and other safety equipment

Benefits and pay

• Pay: £13-16 per hour 
• Pay depends on our clients, and experience 
• Holiday pay: accrued over time as you work shifts, equivalent to annual leave
