Kitchen Assistant

Facilities Manager, Education Sector, West London, to £50k plus c20% pension contribution

Our client, an ‘outstanding’ secondary school in West London, is recruiting a Facilities Manager.

With 2 direct reports (site manager and catering manager) and an in house FM team of 20+ staff delivering maintenance, catering and cleaning, the FM is responsible for all hard and soft service delivery.

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with minimum 4 years facilities management experience – some of which will ideally have been gained within schools, universities or public access buildings.

A salary of £47-50k is offered with employer pension contribution of over 20%. Also included are 28 days holiday (plus public holidays).

We are currently looking for a Facilities Helpdesk administrator to work with an education establishment in Huddersfield, HD1. This is a temporary role for 3+ months.

Working hours: Mon to Fri 8am - 5pm

Hourly rate £13.46 per hour

Enhanced DBS required.

The core responsibilities for this role are:

• Following up any remedial works that are required to ensure the business remains compliant
• Schedule PPM tasks in with Contractors
• Answering calls
• Raising Purchase Orders
• Raise Work Orders
• Other relevant tasks

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Understanding of basic IT programmes (Word / Excel) - essential
• Experience using CAFM system - essential
• understand reactive and PPM jobs - essential
• Ability to communicate comfortably at all levels
• Good time management skills
• Have a good understanding of what Facilities Management is
• Ability to work under own initiative and under pressure

We are currently working with a Education provider based in SW11 who are on the lookout for an Experienced Estates Operative 

Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm
Salary: £29,000 per annum

There is a late shifts or weekend shift option available for this role 

You’ll help with event setups, basic maintenance, porterage, security, and statutory checks like fire alarm and legionella testing. You'll also be responsible for opening the school, and occasional out-of-hours support (paid overtime) may be required.

• Experience in a similar estates or facilities role is a plus

Catch 22 are currently working with a Education provider based in SW11 who are on the lookout for Experienced Maintenance Operatives 

🕐 Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–9:00pm (1-hour unpaid break)
💰 £35,934.41 per annum

You’ll carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the school estate—including carpentry, decorating, plumbing, minor electrical work and more—ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and routine maintenance across the school.

• Support minor building/refurbishment projects from planning to completion.

• Monitor the condition of facilities and report urgent issues.

• Assist with contractor supervision and helpdesk logging.

• Maintain H&S standards and stock levels.

What We’re Looking For

• Broad building maintenance experience, ideally with technical qualifications.

• Strong practical skills (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, electrical basics).

• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in health & safety and contractor supervision.

Catch 22 are working with a Education provider based in SW11 who are on the lookout for a temp Estates Coordinator 

This role will be for a minimum of 3 months- Working hours Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm 

£16.83 phr 

Responsibilities;

• Manage service contracts and compliance folders, ensuring statutory requirements are met

• Oversee the school’s key system and identify improvements

• Support the Estates Helpdesk and follow up on outstanding tasks

• Prepare documentation for committees and assist with tenders and procurement

• Maintain strong relationships with contractors and support the Approved Contractor Procedure

• Contribute to estates documentation, including policies and risk assessments

• Support delivery of school projects and departmental development

• Provide reports and monitor training needs

• Help ensure compliance and ISI inspection readiness

• Manage stores and routine supplies

• Undertake other duties as required by the Director of Estates
