Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a friendly educational setting in Pontefract on a temporary basis for approximately 8-12 weeks.  To be considered for this role you must have an in date Enhanced DBS, be available for an immediate start as well as have satisfactory references in place

• Pontefract
• £12.71 per hour
•  8-12 Week Temporary Assignment
• The shift is Monday - Thursday 15:00 to 18:00, Fridays 14:30 - 17:30 
• 15hr per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Replenishing cleaning supplies where required
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the school
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Checkable work references covering recent employment history
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
