The successful candidate will report into the Operations Manager and responsible and accountable for the profitable and operational management and service delivery of the contracts to meet the business and contract objectives.

As a Contracts Manager you will;

• Interfacing with Clients to ensure the satisfactory service delivery of the contract deliverables.
• Ensure the CAFM system is managed, produce up-to-date ad hoc reports on services and manage all planned and reactive works.
• Meet with client and auditors as necessary, and attend meetings ensuring all agreed actions completed.
• Supporting with maintenance delivery and building sites as required.
• Ensuring that project/minor works are completed on time, in budget and to the required quality levels.
• Ensure, demonstrate, review and monitor compliance to meet the expectation and needs of the Client.
• Ad-hoc tasks to complete any task requested of you.
• Attend training as required to enhance management and technical skills.

The successful candidate will demonstrate;

• Have proven experience within a hard services delivery role with sound technical knowledge of mechanical & electrical services.
• Formal technical education / qualification in Mechanical / Electrical or similar discipline to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent
• Able to read complex contract documents, with excellent communication, writing, negotiation and organisation skills.
• Ability to prioritise work for self and others.

Senior FM (account manager), Mayfair, £65k-£70k + package

Your mission is to manage a 6* FM account, delivering exceptional facilities management services and ensuring complete client satisfaction whist, at the same time, ensuring contract profitability.

FM Performance Manager, London/ South England, £47-50k, 12 month FTC

Our client, part of the NHS, provides community health services throughout the UK, from a network of ‘community health hubs’ containing services such as GP, Dental, Physiotherapy and other day care therapies.

They are recruiting an FM Performance Manager for the London and the South.

The position will provide guidance and support to the numerous Building/ Facilities Managers, who are the go-to for the tenants within the health centres, around delivery of Hard & Soft FM services.

One of the main responsibilities is carry out site inspections to ensure the Facilities Managers role is being fulfilled to a certain standard and, if not, support them in ways in which to get improvement, be that training or guidance. Where necessary, to begin conversations with their line manager if further performance management is required. 

The position is also responsible for inducting new FMs into the business, producing and updating Standard Operating Procedures which outline tasks within the FM role. You will be closing out tenant survey actions, creating, instigating and implementing new processes and procedures that will drive improvements to the FM services that are provided.

Strong leadership skills and a good understanding of the specific stakeholders and customers the role supports will be required. How that support can be provided effectively, whilst working on your own initiative and developing innovative ideas to improve service delivery and, in turn, provide great customer service.

The salary is up to £50k and, although a 12 month fixed term contract is offered, our client is very hopeful the role will be extended past 12 months - but can’t promise at this stage.

A background and qualification in Customer Service and Facilities Management/ H&S is preferred.

Our client, a National FM Service Provider are currently on the search for a Senior Facilities Assistant (Senior Floor Captain) to work on a high end contract based in Hanover Square, Central London. The role will be a key cog in the 5* Service Delivery across the state of the art office building.

Main Responsibilities for the Facilities Assistant include:

Facilities Coordinator, Restaurants/ Food Court, City of London, to £34-36k plus package

Our client is a successful and rapidly expanding facilities management services provider. They are recruiting a Facilities Coordinator to help with the delivery of FM services and compliance at a ‘high end food arcade’ in the heart of the City of London.

As Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that the contractors for cleaning, security and maintenance perform to an exceptional level. You will also build strong relationships with the restaurant managers ensuring that all restaurants comply with fire and other statutory regulations – so that no detrimental effects or downtime impact on other occupiers/ areas of this critical building.

The FC will work alongside the FM, covering either 08.00 to 16.00 or 10.00 to 18.00 Monday – Friday. Very occasional earlier starts and later finishes required and Saturday work will be required (with a day off in lieu) ocassionally.

The FM and Coordinator will be based from the client’s offices above the arcade. Great interpersonal and communication skills are essential to build strong business relationships with the office occupier/ main tenant, the restaurants and building owner’s representatives. Strong helpdesk, administration and compliance skills are required.

We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator who ideally has gained exposure in the catering/ restaurant sector and who is fully aware of the relevant fire regulations and compliance.

Please note this position is not hybrid and requires you to work on site.

Facilities Manager, Central London, c£50k plus benefits

Catch 22 are helping a client recruit a Facilities Manager to be responsible for FM services at a mixed use estate (residential, commercial and retail) in the London WQC1, Bloomsbury/ Great Ormond Street area.

The FM will manage hard and soft facilities services at multiple buildings/ blocks in WC1 and will lead on projects to enhance the buildings and environment.

We are looking for an individual, ideally with some residential FM experience and strong communication skills, who can take a lead on implementing improvements to the portfolio whilst building strong relationships with residents, shop/ restaurant owners and FM service partners/ contractors.

There are approx. 150 apartments and 35 independent retail units within the portfolio. It is beautiful and historic part of central London with independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

A background in Facilities and Estates Management is essential, as are first class communication, customer service and project management skills.

A salary of c£50k is offered with full package.
