Job Description
Our client, a well established professional services firm based on Baker Street, London are currently looking for a Facilities Assistant (Building Assistant) to join their team at their high end office space.
The Building Assistant will play a pro-active approach in ensuring the operations onsite run smoothly and responsibilities include:
- Oversee Events within the office using the planning software
- Liaise with other teams to ensure they are kept in the loop about up and coming events
- Attend Meetings to discuss events happening onsite
- Set up rooms ready for up and coming events and return rooms back to normal afterwards
- Have regular communication with event organisers
- Assemble and move furniture around the building
- Ensure IT/ AV is ready for events
- Deal with deliveries onsite
- Other Facilities Management responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a hands on Facilities Assistant with experience within corporate office space. Due to the nature of the role you will have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work to tight deadlines. You will perform calm and efficient under pressure and will be able to manage multiple workloads at once.
In return, our client is offering a salary of £29,000 per annum plus an extensive benefits package. Hours of work will be Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm but could require some flexibility.
