Job Description

Facilities Manager – Central London

Salary: Up to £50,000 plus travel card

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee a portfolio of mainly multi-tenanted office properties across Central London. This is a hands-on client-side FM role, focused on ensuring buildings are well run, compliant and maintained to a high standard.

Based from an office in the West End, you will split your time between the office, visiting your properties and working from home. The role will suit someone with strong hard and soft services contractor management experience, good building compliance knowledge and the confidence to work closely with property managers, surveyors, tenants and suppliers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing hard and soft FM contractors across a Central London office portfolio
  • Ensuring buildings remain compliant with health, safety, fire, water hygiene, asbestos and statutory requirements
  • Carrying out regular site inspections, identifying risks and following through remedial actions
  • Monitoring service delivery, contractor performance, KPIs and SLAs
  • Maintaining accurate compliance records, logbooks, certificates and risk management updates
  • Supporting budgets, purchase orders, invoice queries and planned maintenance requirements
  • Building strong relationships with property managers, tenants, clients and service partners

About you:

  • Facilities management experience within commercial buildings, ideally multi-let offices
  • Strong contractor management experience across both hard and soft services
  • Good working knowledge of building H&S compliance and statutory maintenance
  • IOSH as a minimum, with a further FM qualification such as IWFM preferred
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing a mobile portfolio
  • Confident communicator with the ability to challenge standards and drive service improvements

This is an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Manager who enjoys variety, autonomy and working across a high-profile Central London commercial property portfolio.
