Equipment Cleaner – Immediate Start

Location: LS10
Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week (between 8am–6pm)
Pay Rate: £12.36 per hour

About the Role

Catch 22 is seeking a reliable and hardworking Equipment Cleaner to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring essential healthcare equipment—such as wheelchairs, beds, mattresses, and mobility aids—is cleaned, sanitised, and ready for safe reuse by service users.

This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining high hygiene standards and wants to contribute to a service that truly makes a difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and sanitise a wide range of medical and mobility equipment.
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols.
• Use cleaning materials and disinfectants correctly and safely.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all cleaned equipment.
• Work efficiently to meet service deadlines and demands.

About You

• Previous cleaning experience – Essential
• Standard DBS – Essential
• Strong knowledge of hygiene and infection control procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
• Physically capable of handling and moving equipment.
