Job Description

Our client, a leading international marketing agency, is recruiting a Facilities Assistant to join their busy and energetic Facilities Team based at Trophy Office building in Kings Cross.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical minded individual to gain exposure to wider facilities management services. Training and career development will be offered in other areas of facilities management.

A salary of £34,000 is offered. Benefits include £1k p/a travel allowance, 25 days holiday, 4 mental health days, Christmas break (3 days) and your Birthday off! Great full corporate benefits package on top.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the state of the art offices are presented to an exemplary standard. Ensuring all systems and technology is fit for purpose and in good working order.
  • Work as part of the Building Services team adding value and an excellent level of service to the clients and staff in the building
  • Day to day handling of the lighting control system software, working with the on-site Electrical Engineer to remedy faults and managing the regular supplier maintenance of the software 
  • Day to day administration of the Building Management System (BMS), working with the on-site Electrical Engineer to remedy faults and booking in the maintenance contractor
  • Overseeing the fridge temperature monitoring software, helping the catering team where they cannot fix issues
  • Day to day operation of the helpdesk system, ensuring tickets are attended to and closed out promptly 
  • Overseeing the Electric Vehicle charging point account and onboarding new users 
  • Daily checking of Meeting rooms and AV systems, ensuring AV and IT kit is in good working order and rooms are presentable 
  • Liaison with AV support contractor, raising tickets and ensuring cases closed quickly 
  • Setting up new AV equipment

The ideal candidate will be a technical minded candidate wanting to work in a fast paced state of the art modern office environment. All training for the role will be given on the job and further training and development opportunities will be given to the candidates.

In return, our client is offering a salary of £34,000 per annum plus a “Stand Out” Benefits Package.
