They are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to undertake repair, maintenance and installation of plumbing and heating systems in domestic and commercial properties across The North East. 

Main responsibilities of the Commercial Plumber;

• To undertake heating engineering & plumbing duties including reactive repairs, servicing of boilers and other appliances, installations and associated works.
• To acquire quotes for stock from authorized suppliers, materials required to undertake works through the approved order system
• To complete all relevant training and certifications as required by regulations as and when required.
• To maintain regular contact with the site supervisor and works co-ordinators to obtain instructions and resolve working problems.
• To record completed works and maintain an accurate records of work carried out including measurements and calculations.

The successful Commercial Plumber will have the following:

• Knowledge of PPM’s and reactive building maintenance.
• Level 3 Plumbing qualification
• Qualified in other trades would be beneficial
• A Full driving license.
• A pro-active attitude and excellent communication skills including verbal and the written word.
• The ability to form relationships with clients and to exceed customer expectation.
• Approachable demeanour and a demonstrable commitment to team working.
• A commitment to continuing professional development.
• Willing to partake in all building services disciplines.

They are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to undertake repair, maintenance and installation of gas, plumbing and heating systems in domestic and commercial properties across The North East. 

Main responsibilities of the Gas Engineer;

• To undertake heating engineering & plumbing duties including reactive repairs, servicing of boilers and other appliances, installations and associated works.
• To undertake the installation of new domestic heating systems in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, industry best practice codes, practices, and legislation.
• To issue notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to gas safety.
• To adhere to manufacturer’s instructions when servicing, repairing or installing appliances.
• To provide information to allow records to be updated following service and testing and update Gas Safety records using electronic or manual documentation.
• To acquire quotes for stock from authorized suppliers, materials required to undertake works through the approved order system
• To complete all relevant training and certifications as required by regulations as and when required.
• To maintain regular contact with the site supervisor and works co-ordinators to obtain instructions and resolve working problems.
• To record completed works and maintain an accurate records of work carried out including measurements and calculations. Successful applicants will be expected to be part of the on-call rota.

The ideal Gas Engineer will;

• Have experience working in both commercial and domestic environments
• Ideally be familiar with oil and medium and high-pressure systems.
• Have valid Commercial and Domestic Gas tickets. E.g TPCP1A, CORT1, CCN1
• Have 18th Edition
• Hold a valid driving license and able to drive company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner and to ensure that the vehicle is maintained to appropriate standards .
• Take part in an on-call rota (1-in-5), £140 per week, plus overtime rates.
