Our client a Professional Support team based in Central London are currently recruiting for a permanent Facilities Assistant based in Central London, High Holborn.
Role Overview:
This position would suit somebody friendly, warm, and outgoing who has a strong customer service ethic and is confident in being able to provide a 'Corporate style' front of house and facilities assistant service that conveys a professional image to all visitors. You will also be responsible for managing and coordinating all meeting spaces and forward-facing client services.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Facilities Assistant:
- Setting up meeting meetings - managing IT & AV set ups
- Support and facilitate meeting room requests & services
- Post room duties
- Floor checks - carrying out Health & Safety checks
- Manage & respond to FM support desk
- Cover Front desk at times
- Manage switchboard required at times (training given)
- Deliver first class support service to the company and their high profile clients
- Proactively support the FM/ IS team
- Provide a friendly professional front of house service
- Provide administration support as allocated by the Facilities Manager
Who are we looking for:
Skills and Experience Essential :
- GCSEs including English and Maths grade A‐C/level 4‐9 or equivalent
- Organised and able to multi‐task
- Understands good customer service
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional telephone manner
- Approachable, Team player, Reliable
- Ability to retain confidentiality
- Good time‐management
- Flexible and adaptable
Hours & Salary:
- Monday to Friday - full time in the office
- 35 hrs per wk
- Starting salary £26,355 per annum + benefits
