Job Description

Our client, a well renowned retail brand, are currently on the search for Facilities Contracts Manager based out of Doncaster. This exciting role will form an integral part of their National Estates Team and is a genuine opportunity to join a household name and drive change across the FM service delivery.

 

Key responsibilities for the Facilities Contract Manager:

  • Own the delivery of PPM, reactive works and small project delivery; within the Property Services remit, accountable for ensuring the maintenance and servicing of all assets for retail stores, CDCs and manufacturing sites
  • Use real time data to lead decision making, supported by our internal CAFM and data management  systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with independent contractors and suppliers including managing the contracts to agreed KPIs/SLAs, scheduling governance meetings and resolving any escalations.
  • Own the appointment of new Property Services supplier partners and ensure they align with our values and expectations. 
  • Operational lead on day to day contract management ensuring contractual obligations are being adhered to
  • Be accountable for all planned and reactive maintenance in line with SLAs/KPIs 
  • Accountable for the budget management for R&M - working closely with the National Property Services Manager
  • Responsible for ensuring all data records are kept up to date including the upkeep of an electronic asset register and compliance documentation
  • Responsible person for any site emergencies or urgent OOH issues relating to repairs & maintenance
  • Ensure H&S policies and procedures are adhered to by internal and external stakeholders whilst on site including issuing permits to work to all contractors
  • Use data to ensure maximum efficiency of the estate, and that you are delivering the most suitable working environment for our colleagues
  • Provide regular performance reports including a full monthly report
  • Responsible for scoping and specifying all new asset installations including M&E
  • Role includes site meetings with internal customers and external suppliers

 

 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Facilities Management professional (5-8 years in a senior role) with strong H&S knowledge (IOSH), strong understanding of M&E/ Asset Management and a proven track record of Managing Projects to time and budget. You must also be capable of demonstrating strong technical/ engineering knowledge. Due to the nature of the role, you must also hold a Full UK Driving License.
